This is Mike, the guitar player from Intrinsic. Unfortunately, we never recorded in the studio with David Wayne. I do have some rehearsal tapes of moderate quality.

Intrinsic Announces Deal with Divebomb Records!

Intrinsic, a US power/speed metal band that rose to relative prominence with the release of their self titled album in 1987, has signed a deal with Divebomb Records to issue their never been released album from 1991, "Nails". A firm release date has not been set, but will happen around mid-2015.

Intrinsic Announces Indiegogo Crowd Funding Campaign!!

Intrinsic, a power/speed metal metal band best known for their self-titled album from 1987, is excited to announce the launch of our IndieGoGo crowd funding campaign! We're calling everyone to help us bring the album "Nails" to life. We've signed a contract with Divebomb Records to issue the unreleased album from 1991, "Nails", in 2015, but need to get it mixed at the recording studio first. Thanks for keeping us up to date with new songs.

Intrinsic's (1990) Distortion Of Perspective CD EP was one of my faves to blast when it was released.
I can't remember how I got a copy, or when it disappeared from my collection....
(probably in the great CD sale I had,
to dirty, cunty, who never-pay-you-a-good-price, used record stores, in the early 90s, when I was FLAT BROKE!)

Either bought your EP from a used record store
or maybe got it from Derek Wills of ANTI-POSER zine who maybe had an extra,
as I wrote reviews / interviews for a fanzine back then too.

One time, at the retail record store I worked at,
I repeated and blasted the track "Piracy" and was headbanging and playing air guitar,
and was told by a co-worker that some customer broad was laughing at me, but I couldn't give a fuck!
That song was so awesome!

Awesome to hear that Intrinsic is back on the attack! This song is kicking my ass right now. Seriously one of the better metal songs i've heard all year. I'm definitely adding Nails to my collection.

The songs on YouTube are sounding great!

Very glad that there will be a 20 page booklet with the CD.
A lot of us are tired of getting next to nothing with a disc we bought, so this, along with a decent price ( $12 !, + shipping) should attract a lot of old fans and hopefully new ones.
