This is the '94 EP of the New York based band SMOKESCREEN who earlier released the demos 'Demo 1988' and 'Demo 1992' (highly recommended steel!). A live clip of the band performing "Masters of Puppets" can be seen at Youtube. Scans can be found in this thread. Enjoy!

At first thanks a lot Strapp and kara for the upload!!! This is long awaited stuff, nice and well done, but SMOKESCREEN did a totally style change on this (axe)

. It is more Alternative rock, maybe call it Grunge too, the only track which reminds on the old days is "The Darkness". So for myself I prefer much more their old demos...anyway it's worth to give them a listen!

And hell yes, the "Master Of Puppets" cover on youtube is awesome - pure STEEL!!!

I agree with Metalhunter about the style change. Way to modern sound for my taste to bad. However, the song in the sample "The Darkness" was pretty good! great work on that one! (clap4)

Btw, seems to be something wrong with the song "Presence". It's skipping like hell. Is it the rip or does the CD have a scratch? (beer1)
