"Metal City - A Neat Records documentary w/ Venom, Warfare, Saracen, Avenger" VHS/DVD (1986/2008)

Ave, the noblest forum of them all! Long time no see. For several reasons I was off these pages for the months, so it's my comeback uploading, sort of.

This time it's a video-compilation from Neat records. I suppose some of you know about that optical phenomena called "green flash" (or "green ray"). It occur at the very last moment of sunset and shine for a mere second. So, in terms of NWOBHM existence this "documentary" occured even after that proverbial green flash.
But nevertheless it is interesting to watch these now out of spot-light bands struggle to have fun despite the dark times. Seems mid-80's Newcastle weren't the best place to bloom for these rock'n'roll cactuses. Anyway, Avenger is driving and entertaining, Saracen is mellow and entertaining and Warfare is crazy and entertaining. Venom is raw. Just raw, it's Venom.
Oh, and there are serious b bs in there too!!
