This is one of those CD's that just fell under the radar mainly, I think, because they were a Norwegian band that did NOT play black metal at all and this CD was released in '95 when Norse Black Metal was everywhere. It is EXCELLENT atmospheric Doom-Death for the most part. A few sections speed up a bit (akin to the debut Amorphis CD) but otherwise it's killer Doom-Death with growled/tortured vocals or heavenly sung female vocals. Comparable to Visceral Evisceration, Phlebotomized and My Dying Bride. Highly recommended.
