    Sample track: Destined To Die

The Boyzz (USA) - Too Wild Too Tame (1978)

    Album Info:

    Country: USA
    Year: 1978
    Style: Hard Rock, Biker Rock
    Format: Full Length
    Bitrate: VBR

    Line-Up:

    Dirty Dan Buck - Vocals
    Gil Pini - Guitar
    Mike Tafoya - Guitar
    David Angel - Bass
    Anatole Halinkovitch - Keyboards
    Kent Cooper - Drums

    Tracklist:

01 - Too Wild To Tame
    02 - Hoochie Koochie
03 - Wake It Up, Shake It Up
    04 - Shady Lady
    05 - Back To Kansas
    06 - Destined To Die
    07 - Lean n' Mean
    08 - Dianne Part II
    09 - Good Life Shuffle

    Notes:

The wild boyz in this biker bar band from Chicago, formed 1977, only released one album before breaking up in 1979. Tafoya, Halinkovitch and Angel later formed The B'ZZ. This album is a bit of rarity. Only a few were made and even fewer sold. And somehow one time, one copy ended up in Holland into my greedy hands. A good track is 'Too Wild Too Tame' if you don't mind the trumpet and the organ blended in. Also a great song is 'Destined To Die'.

    Where To Get It:

    Rapidshare

    Enjoy!!

The link is dead, but luckily I have the other copy sold in Holland :-).

I was 'sold' when I heard their 'Too Wild To Tame' on a dutch Hard Rock Compilation 'Beton' (2LP) in 1978. My personal fav is 'Destined to Die' and of course the fade out on track nine 'Lift this record off, and play it again'.

Cool there are more people who had/have the compilation "Beton". Translation for the non -dutch, Beton is Concrete in English. The album was compiled by the late Alfred Lagarde.
