You sure this was released in 1989? Should have Larry Philips on vocals then.
I filed this as their final tape-ep (1993) before splitting…
Too bad the booklet doesn´t tell anything about the year.

btw: Still searching for their demo 89 and 91

I just noticed this on an old cd-r, after reading in your Austrian bands request list, for a same-named band.
Unsure of what the download / tape origin was, as i probably grabbed it off Lockjaw I will guess, and it was usually accurate.
Copied the line-up info off metal archives, (and yes, I should know better than to do that).

Larry was never in Seventh Sign. He was in Emerald. Emerald split-up, then Seventh Sign was formed.

This was 1993. Band split in '94.

I found this forum, doing a search for this band. I'm one of the members (Paul). I had joined the Metal Archives & tried to set the record straight on a few bands I played w/, including Seventh Sign. Seems like they set some things straight, but deleted everything else I told them. Seems my account over there doesn't exist anymore.

There were 4 studio recordings. 3 demos & this 3 song EP.

After Emerald split, Dave formed Seventh Sign w/ Rob & Brenda. There was a guy named Brian playing bass, but, he wasn't really into it, so I ran into Rob out on LA. I joined a few months into the band starting.

They already had an initial demo, recorded on 8 track, in which Dave played bass, as well as guitar, Brenda & Rob. That one had:

    Don't Close Your Eyes
    On the Run
King of the Universe (Emerald Song)
Morning Star/ Believer (which was Deceiver, also an Emerald song)

Within a couple months, we recorded demo #2 (still 1989):

    White Lies
    Commitment
    Amazing Grace

Rob left the band in 1990 & Dar joined. In 1991, we recorded another demo:

    15 Minute Watch
    Trust (Psalm 22)
    Van Goughen
    Everything

I see they kept my addition of Psalm 22, as that wasn't listed originally.

In 1993, we recorded this (3 Song EP)

    Eye of the Storm
    Mercy/He Remembers

I have these songs joined (like on my youtube videos), because we played them live that way. I have the songs on youtube & in my library like this & possibly are different takes/mixes, than the original cassette release.

So, even though they are different, you probably wouldn't notice the difference, except that I joined Mercy/He Remembers. There might be a few parts added/ommitted, that are in there somewhere. I digitized these direct from the DAT tape master...

Anyway, hopefully that clears things up.
