The "brazilian Black Sabbath". Formed in 1973. In 1977 reached record 4 channels at Studio Pirate's Aurino
(brother Eduardo Araújo), but this work was never released. Received invitations claims of businessmen and satanic cults.
In that time were labeled as “Rock Putrefato Pesadíssimo” (rotten hard Rock). There were fans and followers who dressed the character,
one even carrying a coffin in one of the concerts. Participated in TV programs, festivals, and played in numerous theaters,
    clubs, ballrooms...

The last line-up (1979) was: Orlando Lui (Bass & Vocals), Marcos Baccas (Guitar & Vocals) and
    Marco Carvalhanas (Drums)

Maybe the first latinamerican Doom band in history. Brazil was always two steps ahead of the other countries, including Argentina. As in football, you know (evils)

Just a bit of info. Though both songs from the single (tracks 1 and 2) are most probably Rock da Mortalha originals, it transpires that at least "Dr. Fausto" was indeed recorded in 1998 by a near unknown band called Suscrílios Schiruder, in which Orlando Lui (Rock da Mortalha's mainman) performed vocal and bass duties. The other songs are rehearsal tapes from the 70s. Unfortunately, Orlando Lui passed away a few years ago. As a Brazilian myself, I guess I can do some research and bring some extra info on this hugely obscure and seminal heavy/rock band!
