Stiff formed in 1982,first demo tape entitled
"Stiff Force" came out one year later gaining
good reviews and following in the italian
underground metal scene,a two tracks demo
(Madame Claude/HM Mad Attack)followed in 1985;
in the meanwhile Stiff played several gigs
(opened for Saxon in Modena in 1985)and festival
as Italian Massacre(1984) and HeavyXMas in Pistoia(1985).
Finally the band entered in a professional studio in
Roma to properly record two songs for the planned
debut 7" but as usual the lack of interest of the
italian labels caused great disappointment between
Stiff's musicians and in 1986 they disbanded,bass
player Corrado Cecere later joined Miss Daisy
that in 1989 released the album "Pizza Connection"
produced by Fast Eddie Clarke.

Just for the record, Stiff's first demo was called "STEEL Force", not "Stiff Force", and it was quite a great demo of NWOBHM-inspired Italian Metal.
