(Original Text: This is the 1991 release on Roadracer Records by the extremely underrated band Powqersurge. Powersurge were from Tampa, Fl., and this was their only official LP release during their existence. Many compilations of high quality demos have been issued since. It is considered self-titled, but it is also known as MCMXCI. It's a great record, but the timing wasn't right with the coming of that disgusting music genre called grunge. This band was playing heavy power metal in the mid 80s, but didn't have any luck on a record deal until 1991. This band, along with Morbid Sin, is one of my favorite unheralded American classic metal bands. CD cover scan is included. Hope you like this. )
