    Bio:
A Hard rock band from Germany, formed in 1988. 2 albums (V2 in '88 and Out To Launch in '90) and two singles. For such an accomplished Hard Rock act V2 have a strange pedigree, most of the members, guitarists Simon D'Brouler and Alexander W Reich plus drummer Matti Krebs coming from outrageous Porn Rock act S.A.D,O. As V2 the band, having crafted their debut eponymous album at Skytrax Studios with producer Dave Hutchins, came to attention via their opening slot on HELLOWEEN's 1988 British tour garnering favourable reviews. All was not well within the V2 camp though as for the second album "Out To Launch" vocalist Tommy Heart was superseded by Ralf Dohanertz as the band also augmented their strength adding second guitarist Joannis Steeva.Tommy Heart went on to greater prominence working with ZENO on their 'Zenology' album, ULI JON ROTH and subsequently fronted FAIR WARNING, an act of massive stature in Japan The first V2 offering. saw release in Japan during 1997 with an additional four tracks.

    Album:

One of the best german hard rock albums, after Jaded Heart (all), Bonfire (Fireworks), Casanova (One Night Stand) and Zeno (anything).. Good, guitar-oriented rock commercialism - times punchy, sometimes ballad - let a material of the debut, which had yet to record the occasional hangover, relatively soon forget. Examples? There you go: 'Hungry For You', 'I'm Insane', 'Ashes To Ashes' (no Bowie Cover), 'Kick It Down'. Since you the new shouter Ralle Dohanet also be described as a real gain for the band / needs, the guys have finally about the much-needed potential to soon become the leading names in this area - to be able to catch up - you know who They are.

    Joannis Steeva - Guitars
