An album I was quite lucky to pick up for a really low price, "A Fatal Dose" was the first and sadly only album release of the all-female Japanese glam/visual rock band Acid Love. I've had this album for quite some time, so the reason why this rip is of lower-quality is because I ripped it some time ago to play on my phone. As for the sound of the album, it has a really classic sound that pays heavy tribute to classic 70's glam rock. Vocalist Cindy has a strong tone to it, which is particularly evident on "Stardust Angel", which is also one of the standout tracks on the album. It sucks that Acid Love imploded shortly after this album was released, and it is definitely a double-whammy that the album is also quite difficult to get a copy of, despite being released on Toshiba/EMI. But I figured I'd share the lovely album, so enjoy another old rarity, everybody!

Very well described their style above, but to my ears they sound like they are influenced too by the more contemporary then US retro hard acts like ENUFF Z ENUFF, SAIGON KICK, JANES ADDICTION, but all these influences filtered through a more poppy straight forward R'N'R approach!! Nice guitars and amusing singing and tunes! Another nice present. R.M. many thanx!! porosimetal
