This is demo-tape of 5 tracks that was expanded with 5 instrumental tracks later.

Info: Magnit band («Magnet» in English) was formed back in 1985 as sympho-rock combo led by keyboardist Alexander Bobrov. Line-up consisted of guitar player Vyacheslav Roukhlov, 3 (!) keyboardists (Alexey Saveliev, Mikhail Lotkov), bassist Mikhail Saoushev and drummer Sergey Lobanov. While being classically trained artists and like some of Soviet rock-bands they've been employed as permanent staff of State philarmony of Belgorod region. At heir very start they've been performing sympho-rock covers of J-S Back, W-A Mozart, L.v.Beethoven, Bela Bartok, Sergey Prokofiev and Girolamo Frescobaldi to name but a few.

In the span of first two years there were line-up changes, and sound became more metallic and heavy therefore. Their first (?) official music-video «Rabotai!» («Work On!») was filmed for Soviet TV in the end of 1988 – this is straight-forward heavy-metal breaker engineered by renowned Soviet composer Vladimir Romanychev. The only full-length of Magnit – Den' Gneva (Day Of Wrath) – was released (with several reissues) by Melodiya label back in May of 1989.
Due to financial and other reasons Magnit disbanded soon after these successful moves, and band Кредо/Kredo (Creed) was founded by Alexander Bobrov as a result of this split-up.

Doesn't Magnit have three full length albums? According to MA they have release two albums on reel-to-reel and one on vinyl, Dies Irae.

"Full" discography of Soviet hard'n'heavy bands, especially underground ones is a kinda tricky issue. Unlike Europe and the U.S.A., Soviet bands were not officially accepted at least until the end of 1980s. So it's nearly impossible to list a complete discography of most bands.
I have the following recordings of "Magnet":
1987 The Day of Wrath (demo)
    1987 Detective (demo)
1987 Listen to the Rock (demo, 5 tracks)
1987 Listen to the Rock (demo, 11 tracks)
1988 The Day of Wrath (LP)

If buddy Boston won't be quick then I'll make some more Magnit uploads sooner or later. Let's regard it as your request.
