    Formed in 1979. Doing the up-state New York and New Jersey area in 1979-80-81. The band took a break in 1982. In 1983 guitarist Benny Ransom and bassist Ariel toyed with a new idea and new band going by the name Wasted Angel. But as 1984 came Savage Choir comes back with a new sound. With new drummer Paul M. and lead singer Steven F. both from the New Jersey area. After the departing of bassist Ariel Lee the band hooked a record deal with THOR and became Deathmask!.
