I have the album and the EP, still missing the damn single!
"Black Writs" seem to have been more common lately, the last copy went for 110$ here in Sweden.

It's fore sure one of the best EP's ever made :)

I'll have to listen to it again - I remember I liked it but it didn't make a huge impression - what made a much bigger impression on me in the 80s (as far as Scandinavian metal went) was the Evil - Evil's Message EP - I loved that and regretted the band never made another album. I had a live cassette from them with a show, with tons of unreleased songs, that I later found a digital copy of - the band was quite excellent. I wonder what happened to them. I don't even know their real names - they used pseudonyms on the EP. A while ago I finally tracked down their very rare official VHS copied to DVD, so I was happy about that. But that EP is really fantastic.

EVIL.. yes! what a great band! I think they reformed a couple of years ago, released a demo and shit.. never heard it though...
I have a digitalized copy of a live performence at "Dynamo Club Eindhoven 05.09-1984" I guess it's the same as you mentioned, but if anyone are interested I'll put it up.

Regarding "Black Writs"! give it a second listen.. if you don't like it the first time.. listen again, it will grow on you!

I own the 83 EP 'Black Writs'.

The one with the red background and the yellow cross :

    Seems to be quite rare.

I put a pic of the cover I was talking about in the post but perhaps
the administrator had to delete it ?
Sorry, I am not that familiar with the regulations concerning copyright and stuff...
I 've been on forums before but they all have their own rules apparently.

    Ah ok, second try :

yeah I remember coming across that a couple years ago or so, not much info. Also the link on that myspace to their website ("www.gudsvrede.dk") doesn't go anywhere (axe) With all the reunion madness, EVIL needs to co-headline a festival like "The Northern Warriors Festival" with HEAVY LOAD! (vking1)
