Originally named Hourglass and formed in Athens in 1996, the band recorded 2 demos in 1998 and then changed their name to Hourglass Sands of Eternity. Their first demo under this name was entitled the "Winner" and was followed by a full length in 2002.

Unfortunately, their album lacked the epicness of this fantastic demo!
The band is still active.
