Rock Rose formed in Roma(Italy) just after the first split(1986) of Scarlet (a female fronted band who recorded the first demo in 1985 - Claudia Ruti was on lead vocals and Stefano Toni on drums,both former Lunar Sex,a self titled LP in 1982),actually Scarlet only changed name to RR and replaced Claudia with another female singer,Elisabetta "Beth" Valero recording this 1987's demo entitled "Pick The Rose".

In 1988 they changed name again to Scarlet replacing Beth Valero with the male singer Jon Pearo and recording their last demo in 1989 before definitevely
quitting...but in 1991 the musicians met David Petrosino (Keyboards and Lead vocals)for a new adventure called Sailor Free (https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sailor_Free)...
