First album by Mexican Lament released by Rowe Prod. in '97.Before Lament they were Beheaded and played Grindcore-Brutal death.In '96 they've changed name to Lament and style to Death-Doom metal. This album is quite unique and original in all death metal genre - their lirycs are totally christianitisch and the music is simply amazing! Full of great, memorables melodies. Great, clean but deep [in good meaning of this word - as we speak about death metal] and natural production.There are some clean men's vokals and deep grunted as welll as some additional shrieks.Gutars sounds very deep and plays great RIFFS - not very fast but when they started to play faster that IT SOUNDS killer.Album is full of this small thnings that makes this music great - additional clean vokals [spoken! in Spanish or Portugese], slowing and speeding up, solos!, acoustic intros and interludes etc. etc.Great music. Check last track and see how fuckin' POWERFUL it sounds. I don't care that then sing about christianity - as long as music is FANTASTIC they can sing about f.e. rotting apples or setting sun.Who really cares....I wish every evil and satanic death/black metal album sounds like this one!!!

Song 'From pain to hope' has been recorded on Beheaded demo but sounds TOTALLY different.

Album haven't been reissued to my knowledge.
