Acridity play fairly traditional early-1990s thrash metal, roughly comparable to a less melodic Testament, or a less groovy Overkill, or perhaps even a less power metal influenced Wrath. But while they may not be terribly unique, I can't really say they are derivative either. There are plenty of memorable riffs and songs to be found on this album, especially on the second half of the record.

The band broke up shortly after this album was released.

Fun fact: This album was actually recorded in 1988.
