Here is a cassette rip of Wildfire's "Summer Lightning." It was released by Mausoleum Records in 1984, and is considered by the label to be one of its premier releases. At least that's what label owner Alfie Faulkenbach said in the CD version liner notes. The band featured Paul Mario Day (Iron Maiden, More) on vocals. The rest of the band consisted of members of the NWOBHM band Weapon. The songs on this release are very well written and range from heavy rockers to ballads. The band's previous release, "Brute Force & Ignorance" is a little less commercial and also worth checking out. This cassette has two minor rough patches that last about two seconds each. Other than that, the recording sounds great. Even the rough patches add character, and make you remember what it used to be like to listen to music on your cassette deck in your car back in the day Hope you like it!
