Info: Here is one of my absolute favorite bands. I actually wanted to use the name Rogue Male when I created my gmail account, but it was taken. I then eventually went with Vardis Rules and it carried over as my online name on this blog. I always loved their straight-ahead, no-nonsense approach that was similar to Motorhead. I also loved their post-apocalyptic, Mad Max style image. This is punk metal at its finest. This album was released by Elektra Records back in 1985, and still holds up well by today's standards. Its attitude is relentless. This vinyl looked very clean, but the recording isn't as good as many of my others. I don't know if maybe the bass was boosted too high or something like that. I'm a huge fan as I also have the Metal Mind issues of this release and their follow up on original disc. I ordered a signed copy of the "Nail It" CD directly from the singer Jim Lytle. Anyway, vinyl scans are included.

    Hell yeah!
Classic, bought the cassette when it was first released and didnt leave my deck for a year.
Thanks for the upgrade! It cant be worse than my 192.

Just compared them and your rip is far superior.
Thanks a million for all your hard work.

I also have a rip of my cassette copy, but unfortunately only saved it in AAC or mp4. If you want the cassette recording for nostalgia's sake, let me know.

I wasn't quite happy with this rip, so I tweaked the bass and treble a bit in order to achieve a better sound. I am happy with most of my rips just the way they are. But, I have been taking the few recordings that sounded a bit bass-heavy and muddy, and adjusting the bass and treble on them. I also removed a number of pops that were embedded within this recording. I think it now sounds pretty nice. I also have recently done my own vinyl scans for this release. I did not include the full scans of the vinyl, but adjusted the size of my scans to something similar to what Steeler did with his. My adjusted scans are included here.
