Here is the lone album from a killer Los Angeles band. This album was released on guitarist Doug Marks' own label called Metal Method Records. Doug Marks became well-known as a guitar teacher with his own series of instructional videos called Metal Method. This album was available for order in all sorts of guitar magazines back during the illustrious 80s. The singer on this album was Dave Fefolt of Valhalla and later Forgotten Realm fame. The drummer on this release was Matt Sorum (The Cult, Guns N' Roses). Apparently, Axl Rose was so obsessed with this band prior to his forming of Guns N' Roses that he was present at all their shows. It probably accounts for why Matt Sorum later became a member of GNR. This is a CD rip of the out-of-print Metal Mayhem reissue. A scan of the CD cover is included with this archive.

Doug Marks is still selling those training videos. I bought my son an electrical guitar and one of Doug Marks' DVDs a few Xmases ago. I told him that I used to own the VHS copy of the same video. That was a mistake because he instantly considered it uncool at that point and never really watched it more than once.

I was really enjoying this band like, 5 years ago. I used to love Tell the Truth, and would repeat it 20 times a day, haha. Many thanks for this great classic. Can't wait to listen to it again.
