Metal Mayhem was a great local radio show here in Rochester, NY that started sometime in 1985. The original DJ was a guy named John "The Vernomatic" Verno and his co-partner "The Cheech". This show is from that era.
By late 1986 the new host was "The Little Dio" and sometimes "The Slime" filled in for him. Then in 1987 John Schoen took over and took a much more hardcore thrash direction.
This is the first hour of the show that aired on March 30, 1986.
