What file host should be used

Megaupload is down .. we need to find a new file host.
The options in the voting system are those I could think of. If you know any better please leave a comment.

I've used Wupload a lot and never had problems. Seems very easy to use. Just uploaded a dvd there for a friend. I use multiupload here on this forum, so people have a choice of platforms to download from. Mediafire I've never had a problem with either.

Never used any other host than mediafire, so I can't really compare. It's easy to upload and it doesn't "play wicked games" with the free users. Rapidshare used to be a bitch with restrictions, now it is smoothly working for free downloader, so things may change at short notice.

Three weeks later Rapidshare is bitchin' on free downloaders again, a maximal downloadspeed of 15 KB/s, that way it take quite a while to download something!

I'm not sure if it's multiupload itself or the webs where it hosts, but any link I click from there is always broken.

Edit 1Looks like the webpages which archives are hosted in various pages have removed all their links except for the ones they couldn't (Mediafire,for example) where (I'm not sure) you can't delete the archives you uploaded.
I've tried lix.in too, which looked like an alternative to multiupload, but for now looks like the same.

mediafire allows multiple downloads without being registered: I got even SEVEN different downloads all at the same time without any slowing down or any trouble of any kind

Don't currently have a premium Mediafire account to keep the files up long-term, but might get one - however I have not been around much lately due to finishing my album, starting websites of my own, and many changes in life...As well as needing some specialized equipment to do some unique, high-quality cassette-to-digital releases of rare Metal I was planning to share.

Thanks for your understanding regarding my schedule guys and hope to be posting material at least once in a while in the future.

With mirrorcreator.com you can upload your files to various filehosts in one go.

http://www.mirrorcreator.com is the one i've been experimenting with.
It provides 8 or 9 mirrors for a link even as a free user, with most major filehosts (including all of those suggested above), listed in the options.
Upload speeds (for me at any rate) are comparible to what i used to get from Megaupload, and d/l speeds are similarly good.
Also, should one file host go down, or delete your upload, there are still 8 other options left for the down loader.
Certainly beats putting all your eggs in one basket, and losing everything a la Megaupload.

Yeah MIRRORCREATOR seem to be really good and they also have a nice deal:
"bring in at least 50 download visitors to Mirrorcreator, and you get a PRO account for free".

Well I contacted them and they actually gave me 2 months PRO
the PRO function let you pick 12 file-hosts - Mediafire, Rapidshare, Hotfile etc.. + 400mb upload size.
And the best thing; it's fast as HELL!!. Will definitely use it for future posts! =)

Not sure, but looks like 4shared has started to ask registers for downloading.
