Formed more over than three decades ago by bassist Greg May,the band’s
heydays were in the 1980’s. It all started with the inclusion of
one of their songs on the Metal Massacre III compilation in 1983,
which was followed by their milestone debut "Legions Of The Dead"
in 1985;1988 saw the release of the great follow-up "Too Late To Pray".
Both albums included true heavy stuff,ranging from ultra slow to
lightning fast songs.

Then the band went on hiatus until 1996 when German label "Art Of Music"
released TYRANT’s last CD to date,"King Of Kings". Later on the band surfaced
on several tribute CD’s(Dio,Motorhead,Ozzy etc.), but no more new stuff
ever saw the light of day and the band was put on hold again......
until this reunion show that included all the four original members who
went on stage following the good old metal tradition by wearing black
leather and chain...it was a stunning performance and we in the audience
asked for more but TYRANT's time was over...currently Tyrant are playing
some shows in the USA and it seems they're working on new songs...

Guys,don't let us waiting that much!!!
