General Metal Discussions » Bands or stuff that you like to see in reissues?
Always are bands that are really great but it´s impossible to get their stuff in this days but in the last years appeared a lot of best of/compilations/anthologies of this bands, the question is simple... what bands do you like to see with this kind of releases?

In my case are many, like:

Halifax
Vatican
Neptune
Witch
Blind Assassin
Matthias Steele
Jesus (Jap)
Legend (Fra)
Smokescreen
Solar Eagle
Virtue

Baron Steele
Chalice
Disciple
Apostle
Final Heiress
Majestic Ryte
Agony (Nld)
Brute Force (pre-Heathen Rage)
Obsession (Demos 83 & 86)
Crimson Tyger
Crowler

My top-ten: (axe)

Valkyrie (hol) (the best Manowar-clone! Barbarian sound never die!)
Talisphere (usa) (great! great! great!)
Saintly Sinner (usa) (great Us Metal ala Witchkiller)
Overlorde (usa) (Medieval Metal remind me of Manilla Road)
Majestic Ryte (usa) (superb techno Us Metal ala Helstar!)
Lazarus (usa) (great sound in the vein of Queensryche)
Karian (usa) (excellent Us Power Metal with amazing but unlucky vocalist)
Inner Sanctum (usa) (progressive Texas Metal with great melodic touch)
Coda (usa) (great Prog Metal that remind in some parts the last Queensryche)
Assalant (usa) (Killer Us Metal!)

I listened a band named Koven, I dont even know where from they are but I'm guessing of they are USA thrashers. One demo released at 1988 and it took my head out off my body.

As I'm much fond of nwobhm I must state my opinion that I can hardy understand that so many great bands haven't got the chance to "brag themselves" with any (official/bootleg) releases, contrary to the fact that they'd recorded more than is needed material, here are some examples: MENDES PREY,PROWLER,PARALEX,IDOL RICH etc etc, sometimes hovewr miracles happen like HELL lately CD'or vinyls from HRR,so just nurture the hope that one day...

Check out the 1984 self-released ep from DARK KNIGHT(NYC).the song Cabin Fever will blow your mind!!! (knight2) ..like MAJESTIC RYTE..who is more from New Jersey .. never stood a chance because of bands like Bon Jovi and Bruce Springsteen who basically dominated the music scene back then on the East Coast...but its METALHEADS like us who won't let them EVER DIE.....METAL ON!!!!!!!

To be more specific...the 'generic' sound of HAIR and GLAM metal in the 80's ruined the chance of any deserving 'REAL METAL BANDS' to get their chance of making it!!!!!! (zombie)
