Wow!
My mind is well & truly blown.
Mythra's 'The Darkener'?!!!
Which 'Axe' is it on the poster? The pre-Fist band or the earlier group who released the People Come, People Go/You’d Better Keep Out Of My Way single?
Impressive haul.
How? Where? etc
You do lose points for not having a (studded) leather sofa though, the floral print just isn't very metal.
(hehe)

it's all from this year's Brofest and some travelling I did after that. Most came from friends who live around there ...
actually a couple of copies of "The Darkener" ... that's the original one, the artwork was just on their website back in 2001 or 2002.
Axe is the pre-Fist band.
It's my metal listening sofa, please show it some respect ;)

Boris, please accept my humble apoligies for any offence caused regarding my comments about your sofa.
I guess sofas are just inherently not very 'Metal' aesthetically.
Quite a haul of NWoBHM goodies either way, very impressive.
Is 'The Darkener' any good?

Not recent, but I bought vinyls off ebay a few years ago of a Canadian band called The Fentons.
I think they are rare, not sure.
Only one record by them is listed
http://www.discogs.com/Fenton-Bros-Band ... se/4210968
Got that 1984 12" EP,
THE FENTONS Whatever It Takes 12" EP , (and the Share Chez 106 FM radio '87 compilation LP with a song from it, or re-recording of "I'm Never Leavin'"
(think that comp is mainly Pop, haven't played that one except once).

Ripped one of the records to a hard drive, but got lazy and forgot about splitting them into separate tracks. I will do that today or tomorrow.
Will upload all 3 eventually.

I once seen THE FENTONS on a a early 1980s Global TV program (Ontario) on Friday or Saturday night I think the Rene Simard Variety Show,
and then again late on Saturday night on a TV rock show.
There were 2 band members,or all 3, were playing guitars and singing while jumping up and down on trampolines for their whole song they performed.
I was 12 years old or so, and thought it looked really cool and very hard to do.

They are melodic/hard rock with blues influences.
Here is Side 1 of Whatever It Takes 12" EP , the second song is a Rory Gallagher cover song, Shadowplay.
The Youtuber says it was released in 1987, but there is no year marked on the cover or on the record label.
