Battle Cry (Used to be called Iron Glory) records out of Germany should be mentioned. They bought rights to release the Scratch Records catalogue. They could not release the entire Scratch discography, so they did so with the help of Karthago Records. So stuff like Stormwitch and Gravestone were handled by these two companies respectively. Steelheart and Heart of Steel Records out of Italy are also good companies. Also, I know that King Fowley's Old Metal Records have a very bad reputation for being boot-pressings. As of late though, many of his releases are band endorsed. The problem is that you don't know which ones. The only ones that I know are band endorsed are the Tyrant (U.S.) reissues. I know that King Fowley got himself into trouble with Laaz Rockit. Laaz Rickit pretended to approve of the releases in order to get an address for Fowley's company, only to have a lawyer deliver papers to him. I guess that's why you secure release rights.

Strappado wrote:Hehe I contacted him about 2 years ago and asked if he was interested to reissue the demos of Witch and Kjell Peders
but he said it was nothing for the label.. so I guessed he didn't care much about that kind of stuff.

Anyway.. I have been in touch with the vocalist of NEPTUNE who claims that they recorded a single..
never heard of it before so I am awaiting more info on that subject. I'm pretty sure they have some
unreleased material in their valves to. The demos was very limited, only a few copies was sent out.

"The Guy" from Stormspell can contact me if he want more info or a contact address :).

Oops, I'm really sorry if I have neglected your e-mail request. I get so many e-mails from fans asking me to release this or that, I usually tend to fly over those unless they are from band members, or from people clearly stating they are in contact with the bands. Sorry if I have overlooked/ignored yours.

I still have several slots open on the RWH demo series, and if you are in contact with bands that would be interested, I'd gladly consider them and would appreciate any help and/or suggestions. Cheers!

Mosh Tuneage/Boss Tuneage seems to be legit too

http://moshtuneage.bigcartel.com/
http://bosstuneage.bigcartel.com/catego ... e-releases

they are specialized in British thrashcore, thrash, death, hardcore... their re-releases usually come with lots of bonus, though the early releases were not properly remastered/restored

Divebomb Records out of North Carolina, USA is re-issuing a ton of albums on disc with bonus tracks. We have reviewed several on our site and they do really great work. I believe Chastain re-issues are coming soon along with Witch Meadow. You can see their whole roster here and play song samples:

Did anyone notice that Marquee Records from Brazil has been slowly reissuing the Sacred Rite discography? Both the self titled lp and The Ritual are already out, here's what's included:

Sacred Rite:
Wings of Pegasus
Angels Never Die
The Blade
Executioner
R.I.P.
Revelation
White Boy
Backstage Lady
The Blade (Sabre demo)
Angels Never Die (Sabre demo)
I Will Survive (Sabre demo)
Son of Souls (Sabre demo)
The Blade (Sabre demo - New Mix)
I've Seen the Wizard (Instrumental Sabre demo - New Mix)
Rapture (Sabre demo - Unreleased song)

The Ritual:
Teaser
The Ritual
Headfirst
1812: The Battle
Witch's Fury
Executioner
Second Row
Revelation
The Blade
Angels Never Die
I Will Survive
Killer in Disguise
White Boy
As It Was Told
Second Row
Revelation
Tracks 05-08 Recorded Live at Olomana Ranch April 15th, 1985
Tracks 09-16 Recorded Live at Coconut Grove Honolulu October 19th, 1983

I was lucky enough to see this band at least 10 times growing up in Honolulu, so needless to say I am excited about these reissues. The first LP alone includes all the bonus tracks from the Sentinel Steel reissues and adds White Boy, Backstage Lady and The Rapture!

Heavy Thrashhead already mentioned King Records of Japan, but it's certainly worth mentioning their sub-label Nexus which has a large series of very old, and often very obscure progressive rock and metal remastered releases called "Progressive Rock Legend Paper Sleeve Collection" all of which are "mini-LP" paper sleeve CDs. They also have a series of paper sleeve Anthem albums commemorating their 25th anniversary. All their remasters sound very good. (I own a few, which I've uploaded here, Heavy Metal Army, Eastern Orbit)

Various remaster series (Some released by King, others by Nexus) they have include:
"25th Anniversary Paper Sleeve Collection" (Anthem)
"Progressive Rock Legend Paper Sleeve Collection"
"Shrapnel Shred Guitar Legend Paper Sleeve Collection"
"Neo Progressive Rock Legend Paper Sleeve Collection"
"Nexus Years Paper Sleeve Collection" (Earthshaker)

The Japanese label Pony Canyon also does similar quality remasters, paper sleeves too. (They do all genres, but there are some old rock and metal remasters.)
