Good topic, just comes to my mind two albums:

Helloween - Time of the oath (based on Nostradamus prophecies)

Gillman - Escalofrios (bases on venezuelan folklore horror stories)

both are very good albums, cheers!

In a giant particle accelerator a beam of protons clashes with a beam of antiprotons, creating a parralel universe. And then a lot of shit happens. That's the short version...

The House of Capricorn - In the Devil's Days - Tells a story of descending through the layers of hell to meet the Devil, understand his realm and witness the glory of his rebirth. With a bit of dark humour and so on rather than something to take as 100% deadly serious.

Very interesting, it could be cool to see it on a movie.

Actually a Voivod interview led me to Eraserhead and the David Lynch universe (two years before Twin Peaks made him a household name), which is indeed very compatible with the Voivod universe.

I've heard of Eraserhead but never watched. I like the two first seasons of Twin Peaks, after that is too much crazyness for my taste. But I respect David Lynch a lot as a film maker.

I was listening to King Diamond last week, love the stories he creates.

Different sites, different people rate the guy and his band differently and not always as metal but my favourite concept album is still WASP's Crimson Idol.
