Apparently today i'm in an early 70's Heavy Rock/Proto-Doom mood, i'm enjoying the Mexican band Medusa circa 1973. Anyone who uses the 'Shaft' font for their logo is alright in my book. (great) :

A 70s proto-metal mood is never a bad mood to be in, friend. Somehow this one slipped by me, so I'll be checking it out!

You can't beat a bit of Leafhound. That album's pretty much perfect in my book. By pure coincidence i'm actually sat here wearing a 'Growers Of...' shirt as i write this. Synchronicity! (cheers1)

(yes) I always loved that song.
If you use soulseek or similar have a look for the demo version that Mastodon did, it's also really good.

any idea what Mastodon call it, as the original version on the TV show was named "Linus and Lucy".

I have it on a CD i ripped, Peanuts Portraits (2010) by Vince Guaraldi [FLAC 8 +scans]

Yeah, i'm sure Mastodon's version was titled 'Linus & Lucy'. It was never officially released as far as i know, but the demo used to be easily found on P2P networks like Soulseek, Morpheus, Kazaa etc.

My apologies spaceman, i was apparently having a senior moment during the discussion above & only remembered half the story. The version i mentioned was indeed circulated on P2P sites back in the day as a Mastodon demo, but was later identified as actually being by Gary Hoey. I now remember finding this out, but i'd completely forgotten when we were initially talking about the song. (facepalm) Sorry for the bum steer. Finally, here's the Gary Hoey version which still sounds great to me, i hope you find it was worth the wait.

i'm editing a live vastator taper, and besides reminding me of heathen (even though vastator is not as polished as that), i am also recalling iron maiden

my friends in high school said this following song sounded gay.

i stopped being their friend eventually! They didn't know anything!

Snuff (UK) 1990 Flibbiddydibbiddydob
pop punk, before it got actually popular and trendy

I now remember seeing them at The Apocalypse Club in Toronto, I guess it was 1990, and the singer made me and my friends laugh, "I never knew so many of us were here tonight" , because all the poser punks that we never seen at hardcore shows were out and all sounded like limeys!

I'm pleasantly surprised to hear that Snuff's appeal extended as far afield as Canada. A particular favouriteof mine was this cover version of a popular TV ad for breakfast cereal:

If the album follows the two songs they released, it's sure to be my favorite of 2024.

Pretty catchy, and funny!
so, I guess this song and all the songs on that youtube channel were created by using A.I. (artificial intelligence)?
You suggest to an A.I. program, the music style you want and give some lyrics and it creates free music for you?
