Billed as a sort of "Black Sabbath plays the greatest hits of Yes," Necromandus sounds like Black Sabbath if the latter incorporated other elements (progressive rock, folk rock) into their sound. That the band was discovered and produced by Tony Iommi, who plays the guitar solo on the titular track, deepens that connection:

"Orexis of Death," their first album, was recorded in 1973 and shelved until 1999. It has twice been re-released, once in 2005 with bonus tracks, and once more in 2010 with some unreleased live cuts.

"Necrothology" rounds out the original lineup's works, though in about 2015 the group rebanded and released a self-titled album in 2017, with only the drummer remaining from the original lineup.

finally ripped that Splatterreah tape,
now a rare Warlock Moon demo (only 8 copies were made).
and....... that really shitty Warlock Moon copy I got off off Keegan Khaos on a gawdawm super cheapo normal tape just got eaten...
I managed to re-spool it to the spot it was eaten and continue recording, no idea if I can make a decent edit, and the tape sound is lower than the whisper vocals of james from malhavoc...
fuckin pissed off. I am done for today
I think I hate cheapo's , especially cheap punk rockers !

Exactly what i expected his new stuff to sound like, which is both a good & bad thing. I always felt KK was the least talented songwriter in Slayer & they really needed the Hanneman songs to balance things out, but i suppose i should also salute King for not 'mellowing out'.
Should have come up with a better name for the project though, with Mark Osegueda, Phil Demmel & Paul Bostaph on board it deserves a 'proper' band name. As they're effectively a Bay Area supergroup 'Slay Area' would work. (lolashell5)

Sounds like trendy metalcore diarrhea; just awful. Kerry should retire already. The last good Slayer album was Seasons In The Abyss. Never really understood their popularity in the mainstream; most of their songs are boring and one dimensional. They're basically the.most overrated band in metal.

Zona Strachu by SAX, epic cult classic Thrash Metal from czech republic. I bought the reissue by I Hate Records, killer release. Hugely recommended for those willing to listen to weird professional as fuk Thrash Metal.

To mention another killer new stuff, Deathly Scythe - Darkness moves over the abyss face EP 7" by Life Eternal Productions, death metal done with guts and insanity. Chilean aggression.
