General Metal Discussions » Murder in the Front Row, by Brian Lew & Harold Oimoen ( S.F. Bay Area Thrash)

  • I couldn't wait to get my hands on this and it was well worth the wait. I think this book is nothing short of incredible! I followed both Harold's and Brians work for a long time through Metalzines and such so it's great to have them housed in one volume. Along with all the classic shots in here there a ton that I never seen anywhere.

Has anyone else picked this book up? If so, how do you like it?

Yeah, I picked it up, too! It's awesome! The book gives a very good insight of the Bay Area Thrash scene with tons of vintage photos (mostly taken from Metallica w Cliff Burton, Megadeth, Exodus and Slayer). It's a "must have" for every thrash fan!

It's reliving my youth again..... Brian was one of my penpals back then. Good to see that he still is living it.

I'm still in doubt if will I buy this book or not.Although I want it very badly,I'm a big fan of Bay Area Thrash,to spend money on something that likely will collect dust is my biggest resistance to actually buy this.
