General Metal Discussions » Halloween music?
In a few days it's Halloween.

Can someone offer me some Horror-Metal stuff?
I can't find anything good in the Internet.

Thanks! (axe)

Well... I think metal isn't the most suitable music for this ocasion...

Anyway, the only thing that came in my mind was Doom metal or Death/Doom metal, and I mean GLOOMY doom metal, nothing like Candlemass.

Maybe some early My Dying Bride?

If you really want to hear truly, scary, hellish metal -
any albums or demo tapes by Antediluvian

and below here are some in the more punk /goth style, but the guitars sound good to me

45 Grave - Sleep in Safety LP , Autopsy compilation LP,
Warfare - Hammer Horror LP
T.S.O.L. - Dance with Me (1981)

For a bit of variety, how about some proto-Metal stuff?
Much more atmospheric, (to me at least), and suitable for Halloween than most straight up Metal.

I'm a bit late for this post but I just arrived.
In any case, I think I have some good recommendations and both bands are coincidentally from Texas.

I think Rigor Mortis epitomizes "Horror Metal" if there is such a thing.

and this song by Shadow Reichenstein truly creates the atmosphere for a spooky fun Halloween.
