I'm interested in hearing some Deceptor since I've heard them already and they are good. Can you publish something? Bulgarian here.

Although I don't claim to be an expert for Greek Metal, I know and like most of the albums on your list and some of the demos. I've came to know most of them during the 90's, when pure metal became an endangered species in most countries but Greek, they delivered lots of epic metal.
The first band I thought was missing on your list was ARRYAN PATH, but Danger Minefield! they're from Cyprus (Greek part, so I'm not that wrong) .

Other greek bands I dig:

BLOODSTAINED
CRYSTAL TEARS
DREAM WEAVER
FATAL MORGANA
HEATHENDOME
PHANTOM LORD
WINDFALL
WISHDOOM
WINTERS DAWN

@ Fanis: Very impressive picks!! Although greek metal specialist, as well, since early 90's, I would have changed/added few things only.

@Boring oldfart: The Arryan Path addition was necessary. The other additions were interesting too.

I really like Innerwish and Sarissa, these are two of my favorites. I also like Maurader, Airged and Reflection quite a bit, and Arryan Path is cool. Spitfire is cool as well. The Crush album I never could get into much - don't know why, it just doesn't grab me. Love the cover art though! Northwind, Rust, Fortress Under Siege are also really good I think, I have their CDs as well. Phantom Lord I never much liked, for some reason I couldn't get into them - too "dry".

I have and like many of the above mentioned .
And just want to add Theodor Ziras solos and Europhorce project ( 9/10).
Also Angelo Perlepes Mystery. And one of my favorite prog-metal album - Horizon's End " Concrete surreal " . I'm looking for their first cd " Sculptre of ice " almost 10 years - but still can not buy it (hmm)

yeah, forgot about FLAMES and NIGEL FOXXE. And forgot about that guitar-God Ziras - his albums are fantastic if you like hyperspeed shred - the man is unbelievable. Angelo Perlepes too - I forgot about him - I enjoyed his two albums. And remember the band SANVOISEN - a mostly German band, but a fantastic Greek (at least, I think he's Greek) singer in Vagelis Maranis - I love those two Sanvoisen albums, primarily because of that incredible voice!

Great list from Fanis, almost identical with my fave ones.

From albums, I would add more Μarauder and InnerWish,
Raging Storm - Raging Storm
Dark Nova - The Dark Rhapsodies
Mystery - Tales...
Blood Covered - Winterhawk EP and Wrong Direction
and maybe Casus Belli ( Mirror Out Of Time) with Heathendom (Nescience)
plus Fourth Dimension - Novo (12 single)

From demo tapes, I would add some early Skyward, Verdict or Nigh Shadows and
Ageless Wisdom, Bloodlust (demo 1994), Still Heaven (The Chosen One), Sound Of Silence (Unanswered Questions)

greek scene is a great one, despite the fact that it remains deep down UNDER for sooo many years now. things are changing though in the last few years. northwind are also favorites of mine, along with deceptor.
from the new blood, VALOR - i think they're pretty interesting and WITCHCURSE - good, healthy attitude

Greek bands are not something I know much about at all, but holy crap Athens is heavy metal heaven for buying records! I couldn't believe how much cool stuff I found for sale there, and my biggest regret of that trip is that I didn't buy more! The festival Up The Hammers is great too :)
