I just can't understand WHY PEOPLE NEED SCANS ??? I mean if I like the music I just buy vinyl or CD.But if you're just listen to lame mp3 of Wav so there's NO NEED of high resolution Scans .And the biggest problem I see here that COVER SCANS TOPIC will be used by Bootlegers . Did anyone think about it??? No.And anyway I think high resolution scans is for wimps and posers.

Bootlegs have always been out there, and will always be, doesn't matter if they find a good resolution scan or not - they simply don't care!.
Covers for me and probably many others is art not just a picture, have you thought about that?. That's at least the reason why I scan my records.
Not everyone on the internet are MP3 collectors and bootleggers as you may think.

I love to have high resolution scans for backround pictures on my PC, Handy etc. - also I'm always grateful to find a lyric sheet as a high resolution scan in case mine is missing in my original LP.

I don't think bootleggers register here only to get high resolution scans of a few LPs - they're gonna copy them from CDs or other platforms. Try to find some covers in google - there are lots of sources for bootleggers...
