Okay, to put it simply, Wail is a band of feels. Their stuff is, for the large part, guaranteed to bring some sort of emotional response from you. This album, 2005's "Neo Ancient", was their first and only album release, and what a heartfelt journey it is. The album is composed entirely of tracks to cut right into your soul, with the musicianship and vocals of frontman Izumi being top notch. Seriously, this is one of my all time favorite albums, and if these tracks don't resonate with you, especially the final epica "Wailing Wall", then you my friend have no soul. Damn... just thinking about that one track still brings chills down my spine. Such an amazing, breathtaking piece of Japanese neo-prog.
Oh, and my upfront apologies about the lower bitrate of this one. I initially ripped it for my iPhone, and I guess iPhone files are automatically of lower quality lol. But if you've ever heard this one before, I promise this is NOT a copy with skips and jumps all over like the original rip that loomed for years of this, as it comes directly from me. And I've also got tons more of Wail if this goes over well! Enjoy!!
