The 2nd, and MASTERPIECE album, of Italian RPI legends Banco Del Mutuo Soccorso. For those not familiar with RPI, it stands for Rock Progressivo Italiano and represented a certain sound that many Italian Prog bands had in the early to mid 70's. Banco were one of the first along with P.F.M., Museo Rosenbach, Le Orme, Area, etc. This album is full of amazing guitars, amazing synths and keys and piano, some great Italian vocals performed majestically, and excellent drumming and bass-playing to make an album of twisting and turning songs that are Eclectic Prog and Symphonic Prog together in one. Some of the keyboard sounds are just so Eclectic and weird and unique to this album. This album personifies Italian prog at it's best! Highly recommended!!!!!
