An absolutely PHENOMENAL debut LP released in 1970 by Texas' Bloodrock!!! Very Heavy Prog for the most part, in the vein of maybe Uriah Heep or Deep Purple but with a one-of-a-kind vocalist that makes the band stand out. Some tracks are a bit proto-metal. Others are mellow and simply ethereal like the beautiful "Fantastic Piece Of Architecture"! The last song has a stupid song title, but it's perhaps the heaviest track on the album. And "Timepiece" is a MASTERPIECE! For the most part it's Heavy Prog and the drummer is also the lead vocalist (a rarity in those days). Also for fans of Lucifer's Friend, Dust, Atomic Rooster, Black Sabbath, etc.
