    Note included with original upload:
One of the most important & most known bands from second wave of punk in Poland. Started 82 in small town Pulawy on east of PL.
They played only 6 gigs in original legendary line-up with Tomasz “Budzy” Budzynski on vocal - in Jarocin fest etc.
Last one they played as support with TZN Xenna and Youth Brigade in Warsaw in 84.

Budzy started Armia with Robert Brylewski (ex-Brygada Kryzys) and very quickly released great 7″EP posted somewhere on this site and 2 good LPs.
Armia is still active but haven’t too many connections with HC punk scene.

Budzynski also have another band 2TM2,3 (christian rock) and 2 years ago released CD with band BUDZY & TRUPIA CZASZKA (musically very similar to old Siekiera but with lyrics written by… jesuit monk from Middle Ages, as I know). Not my cup of tea.

After mentioned last gig Siekiera started to play cold wave/post punk and if you like this kind of music (as me) try to find their EP and LP “Nowa Aleksandria” both released 85/86.
LP is till today available on CD version and is very easy to find, even in supermarkets.

Siekiera existed till 87. But we are interested in the past…
Siekiera (1st punk line-up) released only 2 songs on famous “Fala” compilation 84LP.

Till today you can find their music only on tapes (and SLSK records) with demo which they recorded in 84 or their live shows.

The only one vinyl outfit is bootleg EP released in Canada (as I know by person from Mexican Power Authority) in late 90s (98?) which is posted here.
8 brutal & fast trax which are amazing and one of a kind. Hard to imagine how they wrote those songs, I’ve heard that they tuned guitars on their own way!!!
Lyrics are very dark, gloomy, pessimistic poetry hard to translate to other language than Polish although they are on topics like war, destruction etc.

Songs are from their demo, “Fala” LP & live from Jarocin 84.

Quality is not the best but it’s quality of most old Polish stuff.
This bootleg is the most expensive Polish HC/Punk 7inch in Poland, Ive seen one on auction for 150PLN (+/- 50USD). Enjoy it!
